Hands and Feet for Jesus is a Camelback SDA Church ministry that helps seniors and people with major health needs, seeking to provide emotional and physical support with daily life. Whether it’s food, rides to the doctor, medical case work or simply a prayer or a helping hand around the house, volunteers aim to be the hands and feet of Jesus to vulnerable adults in the greater Phoenix area.

Ministry Spotlight: Refugees Receive Food, Cleaning Supplies During COVID-19
One Saturday in May, Hands and Feet volunteers delivered food boxes to refugee families around the Valley in partnership with the International Rescue Committee. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, employment opportunities and transportation options became even more limited for the families. The grocery delivery teams took precautions by wearing masks and gloves, and the unusual circumstances resulted in shorter visits.
But even though teams dropped off boxes on the porch, families responded well. One family’s kids hopped up and down in excitement upon seeing the volunteers arrive, and another family started cheering, “It’s here, it’s here!” We hope to serve more families in the months to come since many people are facing uncertain economic times.
You can contribute to our food pantry at anytime with an online gift. We are all in this together, Phoenix!
