Small groups

Small groups matter. Regardless of a church’s size, the small group is a place of fellowship, teaching, prayer, and pastoral care.

The adage, “A church must grow smaller as it grows larger” is more than a church cliché: it is a principle of Great Commission growth; “Go and make disciples.”

Camelback is the largest Seventh-day Adventist church in Arizona. We are a commuter church. Our members live all over the greater Metropolitan Phoenix area. Some of our members travel over an hour to attend.

To help our members become more intimate and effective in discipleship, we are in the process of creating small community groups.

We have found that this creates an atmosphere of discipleship where we can Connect, Grow, Equip and Send out our members in our own communities, all around the areas in which they live.

How to get involved

Camelback has many small groups in and around the Phoenix area.

Call to meet with Pastor Mark or one of the other pastors on staff to find about the possibilities of one that will fit your needs, or to discuss how to start your own.
